Hi

Just awarning, there seem to be fake scotty putters doing the rounds. The new studio select model has been a target as well as 'new' studio stainless models. The usual way to spot these is the finsh won;t be as clean as it should be, ie the lettering will look untidy or the circles at the back of the studio selects will look a bit shabby. the feel is also a dea give away. Anyone whose putted with cameron putters know the feel, the feel of these can be comapred to a putter yu would recieve at your local pitch and putt with a duller sound as opposed to a slight 'ding' sound. The grips will also be thinner and stink of rubber. As most of your are aware, grips from real manufacturers are treated to deaden the smell. On the headcovers the lettering will not all be perfectly aligned.

If in any doubt, leave well alone or if you live near enough, please do ask to see it first and roll some putts.

The safest way to avoid getting stung is to buy from registered Titleist stockist, use pay pal and people with 100% feedback and a rating of over 250 is a good way.

Good luck and enjoy collecting!!! It's a great hobby!!
