There appear to be several fake emails circulating at the moment, all claiming to be from ebay.

Of the ones I have recieved to my yahoo address (of which ebay have no record), ones asks for you to 'update your billing information' and seems to originate from the Czech Republic, another claims to be from ebay chasing you about non payment of an item.

These emails, at first glance look very realistic and it is not until you click the link that you realise they are fake. However, if you look closely, they do not contain your ebay username.

These emails do not appear to be infected with any viruses, I think their just scammers trying to get your bank details, however, dont take any chances, make sure your anti-virus software is up to date, delete any emails you think are suspicious, and obviously do not give out your bank details in any emails!

Thanks for taking the time to read this, and I hope you have found it useful.
