The ebay shop Festival Gifts Guide

If you are planning to go to any music festival, healing Festival, Craft Festival, Folk festival or otherwise preparation is very important.

There are Four ways of attending;

  1. Camping and chilling
  2. Campervan and Chilling
  3. Running a stall/Performing and Chilling
  4. Voulenteering mabey chilling

There is another but that involves a HOTEL and we'll not discuss those heathens. If your thinking of taking you beloved four legged friend you better check first.

1. Camping and chilling.

Require the following;

  1. Tent
  2. Sleeping Bag
  3. teddy bear
  4. Roll mat/ blow up bed
  5. Food or money to buy food
  6. Cup, plate fork & knife - (often over looked)
  7. Lighter
  8. Clean Clothes
  9. Washing up stuff
  10. Sun Tan lotion/ Hat
  11. Bog roll
  12. Small Back pack or bum bag
  13. Water bottle or water bladder
  14. Blanket/chair

Your tent cannot contain anything vaulble. That's why you need the small back pack or bum bag to hold car keys, return coach/train tickets money and anything else special.

The water bottle will have to be carried with you as there normally very few taps and bottle water on sale a water bladder is great no hassle on your back with a little straw.

Slap on the suntan lotion for hot days or a hat if its not too bad. The bog roll for ,well you'll discover.

 The chair or blanket is for watching the shows etc

If like most your staying for two nights don't go mad on making everything perfect. If your going with friends try forming a circle around a centre camp fire (if your allowed one on site, check before hand)

2. Campervan and chilling

This is cheating a bit but it's the one we prefer. Check that your allowed on site as you'll proberly have to park else where. This is the best if you have children.

If it rains your dry and you have a cooker, a dry bed and privacy should you need it. you still need everything except the tent and possibly an electric hook up.

3.Running a stall/ Performing

This is a good way of getting near the action and not having to walk along way to your tent/ van. We do this normally and you can make some money. If your planning on getting wasted this not for you.

This take alot  of preparation and should not be attempted lightly it can also be expensive. You get to meet alot of people and it really good fun.

4. Voulenteering Mabey Chilling

This is the money friendly way of doing it. You'll get free entry (possibly) and you could even get fed. You can chill out for a bit and then it's shift time or litter picking. Not bad but no getting falling down drunk and you'll have to do your shift hungover or not.

If they're short staffed you'll have to do extra shifts (Bummer)

WHAT EVER YOU CHOOSE TO DO REMMEMBER TO LET YOUR GUARD DOWN AND RELAX AND ENJOY YOURSELF. KEEP YOUR AREA CLEAN AND RESPECT OTHERS
