Hi there
Here at Just-Fitness-Equipment we know a little bit about keeping fit and staying fit so we're giving you guys this short guide. We hope this helps.
1. What do you need? Many people are confused as to what they need from a workout. The reality is that you should do something you enjoy as you'll work out for longer and get more benefits from it.
2. Cardio or Weights? Both workouts have about the same benefits on your fitness but with slightly different points to keep in mind. Cardiovascular workouts improve stamina, overall fitness and suit certain people. Others will find more benefits from a weights routine. Workouts with weights serve to add strength, muscle tone and muscle size if combined with a high protein diet. Weights routines also have the little known benefit of providing exactly the same fitness benefits of a cardiovasular routine (minus some stamina building aspects).
3. Is it useful to do both types of workout? Sometimes yes. If you're a regular sports enthusiast then stamina and strength are both equally important. The trick is to do your workout in the reverse to what people normally believe: perform strength exercises BEFORE your cardio routine, not after. You'll have more energy at the start of a workout so it makes sense to lift weights then (and of course its much safer as there's less risk of dropping your weights when you're feeling fresh). If you're just looking to get fit then choose one type of routine and stick to it. Regular exercise will always reap benefits.
4. How reliable is the equipment I buy? The reliability generally goes hand-in-hand with what you pay but the competitive nature of the fitness market has produced some astonishingly good bits of kit at low prices. Some items are better than others and a responsible seller will be honest if you ask them about it. In reality even the cheaper goods are build to last to a certain extent as there would be no point selling them if they fell apart. The higher priced fitness equipment is intended for advanced use or repeated use. Cheaper items are intended for home use and generally have lower user weight limits and more basic specifications.
All in all, we believe the fitness market has been made way too complicated by unscrupulous sellers and businesses that know little about the products they well. We're happy to be the opposite and we hope that this guide helps you in some shape or form to achieve your fitness goals.
Thank you.
