These are much simpler to change than their elegance counterparts!
You only need a a new microswitch that we can supply (visit our Shop) and a Philips or Posidrive screwdriver and should take no more than 10 minutes.
1. Turn off the 12V to the pump (or the 12V in general).
2. Lift the mixer arm in the hot and cold positions to remove any water pressure.
3. Pick out the blue/red button in the top of the mixer arm.
4. Undo and remove the Posidrive screw under said button.
5. Lift off the mixer arm.
6. Lift off the white flange, taking note which way it comes off.
7. Grab the body which is just a sleeve and pull off in an upwards direction.
8. Take note which way the now obvious switch is fitted and pull upwards.
9. Remove spade connections to outer legs.
10. Fit new microswitch observing which way round the old one came out and bending outer legs as required.
11. Making sure BOTH spade connections are fitted and positioned correctly, insert switches' centre leg into body.
12. Refit body of tap CAREFULLY observing correct position.
13. Refit white flange in correct position.
14. Refit mixer arm.
15. Refit Posidrive screw and push button back into position.
Apart from the washer which sits on top of the white flange BEFORE fitting the arm and is a bit of a pig to get right, it should have been a doddle!
Now turn the 12V supply back on and see your tap work correctly!
If any of the parts inside the tap are broken, then a new tap is needed. This is rare, but does happen. I can help with any parts required - just visit our shop.
Hope this has helped - please vote if it has!
