Just because an Auction says that an item is made by a "Banksy Stable mate" or "friend of Banksy" does not mean that it is the same standard or value as Banksy, or indeed associated at all. Associations with Banksy, can unfortunately be as much of a marketing ploy as anything. So think before you buy..... can I get this elsewhere? and is the price only dictating the "apparent" Banksy association?
