If you are using a Digital camera you would soon realise that the Batery is really draining your wallet quickly. If you thought that you are saving a packet on Films by uisng Digital cameras,  you will soon realise that Batteries have It is not an exagiration to say today your camera battery has replaced Films in terms of cost.. The answer therefore is to use only a re-chargeable battery together with a charger. I have calculated that you can save over £2,400 over the life of a single Li-Ion Re-chargeable battery.

Fuji Np-60 Li-Ion Battery is a very popular battery being used in a large variety of Cameras and is konwn also by a large number of model numbers through their camera manufacturers. Here is a list of models that NP-60 is known by.

The battery is manufactured by non original equipment manufactures under a variety of mAh starting from 900 mAh to 1200 mAh.

Batteries come in various capacities in terms of mAh. The capacity of a battery to store charge is often expressed in ampere hours .If a battery can provide one ampere (1 A) of current (flow) for one hour, it has a capacity of 1 A·h. If it can provide 1 A for 100 hours, its capacity is 100 A·h. There for the higher the mAh the higher is the retention and need to recharge and you get more shots for a single charge. So dont be fooled by the price again - Check price per mAh you may be paying more for less!

You should also note that Batteries expire in life so you should not really go by the price only as a consideration. Go look for sellers with good feedbacks for the type of batteries you need. It is a safe bet.

Rememer also that wehen you buy from outside the EU you can be slapped for VAT and Durty at about 26% on Cost + postage chargers when you receive them so be aware about this. Also some sllers charge VATat 17.5% in their final price so be watchful of them. Shopping comparision sites do not take acount of postage so be wary of selecting based on lowest pirce. They could turn out to be highest because of unreasonable postage , administration and packing  chargers that you don't findout until check out.
