Hello and welcome to my guide for the Fujifilm Finepix A610 digital camera.
The maximum resolution of the camera is 6.3 mega pixel, and very small, it's easy to use too!
The good points.
Takes 2 AA batteries which last a decent amount of time, some digital cameras murder batteries, this one does not.
Takes more than one type of memory card, SD is the cheapest, XD is fuji's own brand of memory card for loyalists.
Picture quality is excellent, the zoom is good too.
The price of these cameras are good compared to similar specification rivals
The screen size is pretty large, making taking a good picture easy.
The bad points.
The video recording feature chews though memory, a 1 gigabyte card will not last over thirty minutes, and has no sound!
The macro (very close range) mode is not brilliant.
The provided software is not brilliant either, it's less hassle to transfer images by taking the memory card out and using a card reader.
The internal memory is only 10mbs, which is good for 3 maximum resolution shots!
Overall!
This camera is good for novice or occasional camera users, as it is easy to use, but more experienced digital camera users will find it's lack of ability to take close range shots properly annoying, I hope my experience of this camera will help you decide if the Fujifilm Finepix A610 is for you, or your partner!
