GETTING THE REAL LACOSTE DEAL!!!!!!!!!!!!! : eBay Guides

As much as ebay tries to prevent fraudrulent clothing, they are many sellers out that persist to sell them. A popular brand of clothing is Lacoste, the famous alligator brand. As an honest seller I like to exploit real vs. fake shirt differences.

          We can begin with the obvious. Real Lacoste shirts have real pearls, known as mother of pearls. Since the pearls are natural, no two pattern of pearl should be the same. The second obvious thing is the alligator. The Lacoste logo is very distinct, the alligator should show scales and claws.

       On men's clothing, the alligator is a patch, then sewn on to the clothing item. On female's clothing, the alligator is sewn directly on the clothing item. 

       Now comes to the alligator's location. On men's polos, the alligator is on the left hand side, between the bottom stitching and the second button.  Notice how the alligator is directly in the middle of the button and the bottom stitching. This is an authentic shirt. Most shirts sold on ebay are fake items.

 Notice on this shirt, that the alligator is very low, lining up to the bottom stitching.

         Lastly, size of Lacoste clothing are numbers. IE: 3, 4 , 5. They do not come in small, mediums, or large.
