Please be very careful when bidding for GHD straighteners on Ebay.
I have just been sold some fake ones, and I'm not sure if I can get my money back.
There are two ways to tell if they are real:
(1) They will have a hologram containing a code. You can type this code in on the GHD website and it will verify if they are real or not. I have noticed that some sellers are even selling their fakes as original and are stating that there is a hologram. This may be the case, but if it doesn't have a code listed on GHD they aren't real.
(2) GHD do not produce straighteners with a hanging loop on the end. I telephoned them today and they confirmed this. You can usually see the hanging loop on the picture, so look out for this. I hope this is helpful.
