Get great tips and advice as well as FREE products including a changing bag worth £29.99 plus money off vouchers and samples.
Pregnant? First-time Mum to be? As your due date approaches it is only natural to get in a panic about whether or not you have everything you need for those first few weeks or indeed if you have made the right choices about the purchases you have made. There are endless magazines and books advising you about this and that, but to be honest when you've read one the rest are all pretty much the same!
It's really not necessary to waste money on loads of these publications when you can get much of the information you need for FREE.
My advice to anyone expecting their first baby is to sign up to Boots Parenting Club - You will need to be an advantage card holder, but this will enable you to receive many benefits on a regular basis including lots of FREE gifts and money off vouchers.
Currently all new members receive a voucher redeemable in most stores for a FREE changing bag with changing mat worth £29.99 with any purchase of Pampers new baby or active fit nappies.
You'll also receive double points every time you purchase Pampers nappies and wipes, Johnsons baby toiletries, Avent bottles and sterilisers, Heinz baby food as well as any Boots own label baby products.
Regular mailings, magazines and sometimes samples will be sent to you offering fantastic advice as your baby grows and more handy coupons. Recently I received a voucher for 500 extra points when spending £15 or more on baby products which is great as it's worth £5 and 2 packs of Huggies Super Dry nappies (my prefered choice), cost me £16 - so really I am getting them for £11!
Not all the treats are for your baby either - I've received vouchers in the past for money off or extra points on many beauty items including a FREE Boots NO7 voucher worth up to £16!
The Parenting Club supports you right up until your baby is 2 years old and you can join whilst pregnant. This can be done online or by picking up a form in any Boots store - the sooner you join the more goodies you'll receive, so what are you waiting for?
I would also recommend registering your details on various websites dedicated to Mums and Mum's-to-be as they too will send you money off vouchers from time to time. Alot of the main-brand baby food/milk manufactureres have their own websites and often send out coupons to get you to try their products, as do the top brand nappy manufacturers.
Many other stores also offer a Parenting type of membership club, but I found through personal experience that Boots is definately the best and I'm still reaping the rewards as my daughter turns 18 months!
