Gucci Watch or any watch needing new battery : eBay Guides

Hello Ebayers, the purpose of this guide is to make people aware that when they are buying a watch that states "excellent watch/good watch, however needs a new battery", I would in the first instance, if you really wanted the watch, ask the seller to get the new battery before you purchase it. 

The reason for my guide is that I have 3 Gucci watches one which I wear and 2 that had run out of batteries (so I thought).  I took the two that had run out of batteries to the jewellers to have new ones put in, with the purpose of selling them both on ebay.  One was the battery, however the other watch had just stopped working, it wasn't the battery at all.  Therefore if I had put both these watches on Ebay to sell and put "needs new battery", the buyer of one would have been very very unhappy. 

Sometimes when a watch just stops, its not always the battery that has gone.  Apologies if this offends anyone who is currently trying to sell a watch that needs a battery, but maybe for your own peace of mind, take it and get a new battery before you send the watch off, at least then you know it was working when you sent it!.
