 Buying clothing over the internet with only a picture to look at can be a bit hit and miss, here is a guide to what to look for.

A stiff net petticoats for dance or Rock 'N' Roll needs to look nice fresh and crisp, have all seams straight  if possible try to get a sample of the material, this  could help you to make up your mind about the quality of the fabric, stiff petticoats are always best purchase new as they do loose stiffness with age, a good petticoat would have a high yardage in to give volume and look nice and even around the tiers and at bottom, it must also be lined as stiff net can be very rough on the skin. If you are not sure about buying always ask a lot of questions before you purchase
