Have you ever wanted to know why when you diet, you sometimes get constipated or why you can't control your craving for something sweet? For the answers to these, and many more health and nutrition questions, read on...

  1. Is fruit juice as good as whole fruit? No, unless you make it yourself, leave all the fibre in and drink immediately. Commercial fruit juice manufacturers discard all the goodness - the 'pulp', then heat up the juice to kill any bacteria [pasteurise], leaving what is no more than 'sugar water'. So...eat fruit whole!
  2. I can't control my craving for something sweet. What can I do? You don't have to give up treats completely, just find healthier alternatives. Also remember that habits take three to six weeks to make or break, so you'll need a little patience to get through the initial 'change period'. Experiment with replacement treats, such as fruit and Herbalife Protein Bars.
  3. How much is a serving? A person's dietary  needs vary according to their age, sex, activity levels, health, body size and genetics, all of which affect individual serving sizes. As a guide, a portion of fruit or vegetable is about the size of your fist and a serving of lean protein is the size of a deck of cards.
  4. I don't like fish. is there another way i can get the essential Omega-3s that I've heard are so important?  Choose a fish oil supplement that neutralises the fish odour, such as Herbalifeline.
  5. How do you help someone who doesn't like vegetables? Presentation  is key - be creative! For instance, colourful salads scattered with nuts, seeds and drizzled with a delicious dressing [yoghurt, honey, mustard and black pepper], or, a mixed vegetable stir fry with slithers of lean chicken and topped with herbs and grated cheese - delicious! Biled veg can be  areal turn-off even for those who adore vegetables! The nutrients in fresh foods are vital for health, so 'sell' the long term benefits, and at the very least, take a multi-nutrient supplement, such as Formula 2.
  6. When I diet, I sometimes get constipated, what should I do? This is quite common, check you are getting enough fibre and water [25-35g of fibre and 8 glasses of water daily]. A lack of either or both can block you up. Add a fibre supplement to your daily regime, and a probiotic, to help achieve regularity. Try Fibrebond. This unique blend of active fibres and sodium choleate helps assist your digestion by improving the process of elimination of wastes from the body. It can also curb your desire to snack.
  7. Where can I buy the Herbalife products mentioned above? Please feel free to conatct ebay seller  ID: hs39 through the ask seller a question facility for further deatils.
