Recently looking through some ipod auctions i have noticed quite a few very unofficial copies of ipods. Now alot of these look very good and you would be forgiven for beleiving they were ipods but upon closer inspection they are not.
Things to look out for:
Buttons in different places/shapes/different amount of buttons
The ipod connector, find out where this is located, on most of them its on the bottom if its not there or its just a standard mini usb plug then yes its a fake!

But i hear you say; 'so what they still play music, don't they?' Well yes they do but the interface is not the same normally cheap and Chinese looking also that loverly scroll wheel probably won't work and will be disguised buttons. And worst of all they will certainly not sync to that brilliant program itunes. The battery life will probably be quite poor as well compared to a propa ipod.

Thanks for reading this and i hope you get yourself a great ipod:)
