This Question i get asked time and time again with regards to engine conversions on the Vauxhall Corsa B.

"What shell type is my car???"

There are a couple of simple ways to determine this;
If your Corsa B has No power assisted steering and has an 8v engine then it is what people refer to as a Type '1' or Type 'A' shell.

If your Corsa B has either or both power steering or a multi valve engine 12v or 16v then you have Typ2 '2' or Type 'B' shell.

Hope this clears up the matter for anybody who wasnt sure.
