For those who are looking for whereabouts to buy J.Lindeberg products. As I was recently drawn to J.Lindeberg lifestyle and became the enthusiast, I have found J.Lindeberg has not got its own flagship stores anywhere in the UK (except a business showroom in London). The products are distributed and sold worldwide. You can spot and purchase J.Lindeberg products from leading golf stores, golf centres, and leading department stores, e.g. Harrods, Selfridges, Harvey Nichols, House of Fraser, and etc. J.Lindeberg has about 5 collections - J.Lindeberg Concept, Progressive Tailoring, Denim, Future Sports, and JL/Golf/Ski collections. J.Lindeberg creates products for both men and women.

As being a regular ebay seller, after I'd checked out, there are quite a few J.Lindeberg items on ebay at the moment. Some of them are obviously genuine being offered by trusted golf accessories sellers while others are easily identified as the knock-offs (easily noticed by the feedbacks). If you superficially look at the fake ones on ebay, it can be difficult to distinguish. Photos alone can't do the justice. You'll see they even have got the tag, art no. and all underlying details as a authentic ones have.

If you wish to buy on ebay:

First of all, please be more suspicious of the locale of the item. I have been told by some customers they have mistakenly purchased some fake products (they are mainly belts, polos, golf shirts, hoodies, and visors) from North America and the Far East. Nevertheless, amongst those who have fake products up for sale, there are many many trusted sellers in North America who offer authentic J Lindeberg.

Second, be suspecious of the price. J Lindeberg's price has never been too low. Recently JL  no longer does belts in blue, fluo green, fluo orange, pink. Instead, JL made solid colours for latest collections. These mad colours are from previous collection hence their prices should be a little higher as they become more sought after (unless you get the real deal while they are on sale in an official website or high street shops or you buy a pre-owned iem). Also, the price range in North AMerica and Europe is slightly different as of distinctive currencies.

Third, be suspicious of the model. You can primarily look up in an official JL website or google around and check in online independent store. However, please bear in mind, JL website - both US and Europe - don't uniquely offer every single items JL produce especially clothes and accessories. They will mainly offer best sellers and select some models from the latest collection to sell in their site. This means there are a lot more JL products out in the market. If you wish to look up for previous collections, please search in search engine for other online store. In addition, some of the product line might be exclusively sold in the region, for instance, some models that are solely offered in Sweden.

I am seriously selling the authentic J.Lindeberg so I wrote this guide as a reminder.  If you wish, you are welcomed to take a couple of minutes reading a guide before you made a purchase on ebay.

Belt

  • First point of speculation is the tag. The label can come in different colors, for example, red, off white, gold, grey, black etc. depending on the year of production and date of collections. Since I'm allowed only 10 photos, I have to omit a gold tag of previous collection and a black tag of current collection of which you can hardly find on ebay. However, all the tags should contain similar contents on the inside of the tag e.g. Art. no., name, colour, size, and the barcode on the right side.

  • You can find the Art. Nr. on the tag and in the middle on the inside of the belt. These numbers should match each other. If not, be suspicious, the tag might be reused.
  • On  the inside of the belt, the Art Nr. should be on the first line. The second line must say "Genuine Leather" and the bottom line must contain "Made in...". On the right side of the Art Nr., the size of the belt should be shown in both inches and centrimetres.

  • Having mentioned about Art Nr., the Art Nr. for every collection that is not made in "Sweden" contains 3 groups of letters and figures, for example, 61L  9097  961. For those collections of which they are made in "Sweden", the Art Nr. will appear in one big group of numbers, for example, 52L9527971.

  • From my experience, I have found most of the belts are made in 3 countries - Italy, Sweden, and China. Almost every single model of belts will appear 'MADE IN ITALY', for instance, Topper suede belts, Topper Pro, Bridger car paint belt, Bridger Pro, Slater car paint, Victory, Plexer Pro, as well as other leather belt collection which are metal boney JL-logo buckles.

  • On the other end of the belt, after the last hole, full J. Lindeberg logo appears with "Stockholm" at the bottom. Please note in almost every model of belts (those 'MADE IN ITALY' and MADE IN SWEDEN') the word "Stockholm" will appear under the logo. Except the collection that is made in China, only the logo will appear without having "Stockholm" underneath.

  • Holes in every belts, there are only 5 holes.
  • On the buckle, there must be J.Lindeberg logo embossed apart from some collections, for instance, car paint . The style of logo can vary depending on the collection.
  • The buckle also comes in different sizes.
  • Sizing ranges from 27-40 inches (27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 36, 38, and 40)

I hope you do find this tips being useful in a way. I will have some more tips up in ebay. I have to end for now for other activities. If you have any queries or any doubts, please feel free to contact me.
