OK as many of you will know there are many fake items on eBay but it is often hard to tell the difference between a fake and the real deal.
Here are some common signs that the item you are looking at is actually fake:
The most common mistake sellers of fake merchandise make is selling items that abercrombie don't actually make. For example there are many polo shirts that are in colours that are not made by abercrombie.
The seller is either based in China or sends his items from China or an area around there. The seller refuses to send you pictures of the actual items (can be some genuine reasons for this though) If the price is very low and the seller has many of them it is 100% fake. For example Deer Brook Polo Shirts cost $50 from the US. Some sellers are charging just 15 pounds! These sellers are selling fake items and they know it. For those items you should be looking at a price of 25 pounds including postage for authentic as the exchange rate recently has been favourable. Check the sellers feedback. If more than one person says the items they are selling are fake then they probably are selling fakes. If the seller has sold hundredsof abercrombie item and received no complaints they are most likely to be selling genuine items. If this has helped please just say it has helped so then other people can avoid buying fakes. ThanksGuide created: 02/02/08 (updated 18/08/08)
