Magical crimping pliers are really magical.  They cleverly turn 2mm Sterling Silver or Gold filled tubular crimps into round beads that crimp Softflex Medium or Fine beading wire.  There are two sizes of Magical Crimping Pliers available.  The original size is designed for use with Softflex medium .019 mm or equivalent beading wires and the new size is designed for use with Softflex Fine .014 mm beading wire or equivalent wires.

The technique is quite simple:

Just thread your wire through the crimp and back through to create a loop then place the crimp in the groove in the Magical crimping pliers and squeeze firmly - this produces a 'ravioli' shape. 

Next turn the crimp in the groove a 1/4 turn and squeeze again. 

Keep turning and squeezing until you have a perfect round bead.

I have successfully used these pliers with Tigertail 7 strand and 3 strand and have customers who have used them with Silver plated crimps (these are more brittle than Sterling Silver and Gold Filled but can work with practice)
