Not every Seller accepts personal cheques or postal orders as a method of payment, so it is always worth contacting the Seller first, if you cannot find the information on the item decription under the payments section.

You will find that sellers who do offer personal cheque or postal orders as a payment option have set up these details for you on the eBay system already (in most cases and certainly in my shop). To find out how to access this information and registar your intention to pay follow the following instructions:

Please sign in and find your order on eBay under the ‘Items won’ category on the left hand column.
Press ‘pay seller now’
Select Personal cheque or postal order, under Paypal.
And press ‘Pay’
eBay will then do two things, firstly process the information so that Sellers know not to chase you for payment and show your order as ‘Payment pending’ and secondly eBay will send you to a screen which will give you details of Payee name and the address for sending your payment too.

I hope this helps?
