P-Touch Tapes

Suitable for gardeners and outdoor applications, Brother Ptouch laminated tapes are resistant to sunlight and are waterproof unlike conventional hand written labels. P-touch TZ tapes do not fade or peel off even after many years

They are also are used extensively in retail stores. The TZ211 6mm black on white tape would be of particular use for tasteful and professional marking of jewelry.

For education and schools TZ P-touch tapes would be the perfect solution for the marking of lockers, school equipment and books. The TZFA3 tape would be very useful for clothing applications.

In manufacturing they are widely used, being scratchproof and able to withstand temperatures from -30-300 degrees. So whether its labeling bob sleighs in the Arctic, or a chemical plant in Liverpool they are the first choice.

In the home:

Useful applications for Brother P-touch TZ tapes are:

Labelling children's sports equipment & property, labelling the input/outputs of computers & hi-fi systems, labelling mains plugs to identify what is plugged in, great for use in freezer labelling - the list is endless!

One of the most popular Brother P-Touch machines would be the PT-1000. There was a deal between Brother and Lidl just before Christmas to sell them very cheaply. It was a success and thousands of Brother P-Touch machines were sold. You would need to be aware that the P-Touch tapes they use would only be TZ tapes up to 12mm but not the M tapes which are cheaper but smaller. The tapes are available and advice given from several retailers including ourselves Computers Unlimited

To clarify a point Brother also manufacture "M" tapes which are not to be confused with the TZ range and will not be compatible with machines using TZ tape, likewise the machines using TZ tapes will not accept the "M" tapes.

Brother "M" tapes are not suitable for outdoor use and many of the features of the TZ tapes are not consistant with the "M" tape as it has a metallic composition.
