Inkjet or Laser ?

The first choice is which type of printer would be most suitable for you, for home users the biggest difference between inkjet and laser printers is the price, with color laser printers being very expensive.

The other major factor used to be speed and quality but nowadays some inkjet printers can print over 20 pages a minute and have such a high resolution that they can produce images with enormous clarity.

Unless you intend on printing thousands of pages a month or need intelligent networking then an inkjet printer should be ideal for the home user or in a small home office scenario.
