Jaden is defeated – It was his destiny says yoda!

YuGiOh! GX has finally shown us the good guys losing. Aster Phoenix and his deck of Destiny Heroes have rocked Jaden’s elemental heroes to the core. And about time too! As a follow up form Enemy of Justice set the Power of the Duellist has brought out the biggest and baddest heroes on the block. They are Dogma, Double Dude, Dasher, Defender and fear Monger.

Starting at the top with 3400ATK you have the Guv’nor Dogma. Who can survive that I ask, well only Raviel, Obedient fiend and and … no one elseinmy son’s collection.And with the loss of your life points (half next turn!!!) he is very potent. Like Raviel or the sacred Beasts he needs three heroes ( one of which is a destiny hero) to tribute summon him. Can we do it well yes we can. Double Dude to the rescue. He can be killed and then use his ability to Special summon two Double dude tokens. You then play a normal summon for a hero and special summon Dogma to the field. Mummy. In his own right Double Dude has two attacks of 1000 each and 6*’s so okay.

Then there is the wall that that is banging your head against Destiny Hero Defender. Okay the draw back of his 2700 DEF is an extra draw for your opponent but I do not feel this hinders a 4* Hulk like him. You can turn this disadvantage into an advantage with the Continuous Trap Card "Appropriate" (from Pharaoh's Servant). Once it's activated, you draw two cards whenever your opponent draws a card outside their draw phase. Including when they draw for Defender!
