Kevlar lined shirts are pretty good as they have an anti slash/cut kevlar lining under the actual shirt.
It does offer good protection in the unlikely event of an attack on the person with anything sharp.
Typically used by medics, doorpersons, barstaff, kitchen staff, police, mod personnel and many more
Just make sure the kevlar lining is made from a kevlar yarn, and not a fleece type kevlar material, the yarn is stronger and harder to cut/slash.
you can expect to pay between £35-£60 for such an item, but what price for safety?
Be advised that they are offering a high level of anti cut, slash protection, but they can be cut with enough force used.
I have used a stanley knife on the shirt and it happily withstood it when slashed, cut, the cotton shirt is of course cut but the kevlar lining on the inside remains intact.
Similarly the kevlar lined gloves offer the same level of protection.
