These radios can be reset to any TX/RX frequency between 450-470 mhz despite the range on the handset stating 440-480 mhz. Software used for the above was Kenwoods own, namely "KPG-87D".

The TX/RX default settings on the above sets were set to those used by several English Police Forces. These freq. should be deleted prior to use, despite most forces now using the Airphone system and Motorola MTH 800 handsets.
