Look for a deep and solid top chopping block which can put up with the punishment from your meat cleaver! Many will offer a draw and shelves under the block. Make sure to keep the block clean between meat and preparation of other food, perhaps by adding a small chopping block just for vegetables and another for fish.

DINING CART
More for the dining room than the kitchen and ideal for serving food to your family and friends. Dining room carts will often feature cupboards, which are useful as short term and long term storage.
