Latest Ebay Scams Ebay Frauds deception non-receipt of goods - non existance of goods- internet fraudster Mr A Cuthbertson of 219 Penarth Road, Grangetown, South Glamorgan, CF11 6FR - THIS PERSON IS A SCAM ARTIST defrauded myself and many other eBayers. Do not think you are safe when a seller has 100% Feedback this means nothing as I found out-  eBay feedback system is now a totally unacceptable method to a paying customer of judging a seller. You really need to be very careful buying on eBay it is not as safe as you think it is no matter how eBay make advertising loom on TV. Latest news!! Mr Andrew Cuthbertson has been arrested and best of all has been remanded in custody. I have received confirmation from South Wales Police and Mr Cuthbertson had more than two we were aware of he is believed to have 7 accounts on eBay. This con artist would set up temp offices all over UK to pull his scam he was basically caught as all the funds were located to one bank account the bank account below. His scam was in region of hundreds of thousands pounds hence being remanded in custody. Must praise the police on this one as they had a dedicated team consigned to this case and you bet I will make case details public already have several major newspapers looking for story and all money received will go to local playgroup in my area to pay for new play equipment. Latest Scammer on ebay - advertises goods for sale takes payment and then disappears has used multiple accounts. Warning builds up feedback and then commits the scam WILL NOT ACCEPT PAYPAL so you pay via cheque, postal order, bank transfer and he doesn't send items and disapears.

Remember the details are he will set another account up and will use the same bank account so if you see the same bank details you know its the same guy uses Hotmail email addresses not a static email as he knows you can track IP address from a static address. Because of how complex law is its reliance on bank reporting this guy to police to investigate as you would have paid via banking methods or cheque so its all banking politics. If this stops one person from being scammed then its served its purpose I feel because I have been scammed I should warn others.

I aswell as over 50 ebayers have been conned by this seller advertsing goods that they don't have because the seller had good feedback you were fooled and pictures of of actual product so you believed the goods were available.

EBAY HAVE BEEN INFORMED OF THIS SELLER his collinsphilfan account has been closed but he moves base and sets up another account based in Wales area at present and is in early twenties. You will have heard of this seller from national press The Sun newspaper and also from scamsonebay dot com
