I think everyone on ebay should be aware that it is not a threat to say you are coming round to the retailers for a refund. If possible you should Dont be threatened by unscrupulous traders threatning to get the police saying you are threatning them.  THERE IS NO LAW AGAINST DEMANDING A REFUND IN PERSON.
If possible go round in person to these snivelling fools. Would the police say I cant go back to currys for a refund on broken goods. or if I buy a car privately I cant go back for a refund.
