Photography is just a hobby of mine, but i have to say since the beginning of digital it is getting cheaper to do and learn also. In this day of technology replacing goods can be easy to upgrade finace permitting.

But there is one lesson to learn buy a camera case and lens cap, they cost under a tenner and can save you a fortune. It did for me, i dropped my camera after there was a rush to take a photo of a football player of which i did not get, the camera dropped, and fortunately, my camera was protected by case and lens cap, no scatches and no damage, it is a little tip, but an important one.

Get one on ebay, get both it will give you security and protect your camera from the weather also.
