Dispite ebay trying to control excess postal charges the number of sellers ripping off buyeres seems to be on the increase.

A prime example is that of a flag sell, 1000flagsuk, a purchase of a Buy it now on five flags @ 99p with postage of £3.51 should have been a total of £4.95 plus £3.51 postage.

The actual postage charged was £17.55.

The actual postage cost was in fact £1.92.

So I contacted ebay and questioned the fact that if I gave a neutral feedback pointing out the excess postage charge it would mean a retalliation and probably in the form of a neagtive. The new "ebay  Star" system actually meant little as the response was to advise that any retalliation would be removed by the Trust & Safety section. {We shall see, the trader replied to my Neutral with a negative.}}

The point is that this that offering an item at a low price and the real cost being in some cas's three to four times that made up with postage is outrageous.

We need a tirade of buyers against this abuse.
