When I first starting selling on ebay it was a steep learning curve trying to manage the sales coming in with sending the order out. It was confusing checking my email, refering to "my ebay" and checking my paper notes, but one method I swear by saves me lots of time and effort, and I wanted to share it. When I sell an item through Paypal, I immediately print off the packing slip from Paypal (or make my own) and package up the file, then once it is printed off I click "file item", so that it disappears from my paypal activity screen. I then go to "my ebay" and mark the item as dispatched, and then click Remove Item here as well. This process ensures that my activity screen is clear for me to manage the orders coming in, pay invoices and dispatch items as quickly as possible with no messing around. Hope it helps.
