The MICRO XTREME XT

was launched in November 2008 and is Micro's response to the ever-increasing use of scooters (especially the BULLET) in skate parks and on the streets for extreme aggressive use. The new XT is extremely hardcore and is intended for the very very best riders out there. The XT has a fixed folding mechanism and new fixed handlebar system with a new PU long-lasting maxi-grip. The new footplate is the ultimate in strength, with a new larger double square section platform and a full-length grip for more secure footing. A new fork system replaces the standard fork and is not only thicker and longer but also offers the rider a different rake, rider angle than was available before.  The new lower rake gives the rider more control over steering and allows hte rider a better position for tricks.  The newly designed fork eliminates the need to reinforce the upper area and is fixed to a new lower stem using two new extra heavy-duty collar clamps. The headset has also been improved with new headset rings which are stronger and have a tighter tolerance  than the old system which gives a much quicker reaction from the headset  and allows the rider a greater feel  and response when performing tricks.  Finally, as well as new 100mm 87a wheels with metal cores for extra strength, the XT features a new braking system which is longer, stronger and thicker than any used on any other model.

Its main feature is a much lower footplate which eliminates the need for the rider to lean when scooting and therefore prevents the unnatural curvature of the spine that results with many other models.
