Madonna is one of the most collectable artists in music.  Amongst the most sought after items of memorablila, picture disc records are rated highly, often because they are issued in limited numbers upon the release of a single or album and they are nice items to own.  Here's a quick guide to the official picture discs of Madonna issued since her first single was issued in 1982, as there are many unofficial discs about, often mistaken for genuine items.

If you have a picture disc that does not appear on this list, the chances are that it is a fake or unofficial.  Many interview discs have been issued on Madonna and these too are unofficial.  In addition to the above listed issued by Warners/Maverick, Replay Records issued a series of picture discs under the guise of "Madonna: Early Years".  These discs contain the demos Madonna did with Otto Von Wernherr, and were not licensed by her record company.
