The purpose of this guide is to help those who really want to knit with all the lovely fun fur fabrics but never seem able to get the right pattern, needles, tension etc. so end up with a scarf  that stretches, pulls out of shape, looks full of holes etc. All the fun furs look and feel slightly different, and have differnet recommended needle sizes and tensions - but through our own wool shop, which sends various brands of fun furs, we have found that there is one PERFECT recipe for success!

We no longer sell the customer knitting patterns for fun furs, just the simple ingredients,

2 or 3 balls of any fun fur wool (100 - 150g)

1 pair of number 6mm knitting needles -

Cast on 25 stitches for an average width and length scarf (30 stitches for a wider scarf - this is where you will need the extra ball of fun fur wool)  and knit every row until all the wool is gone (remembering to save enough to cast off) - Happy Knitting! Cando.
