Hi, In my opinion Mamas and Papas are one of the best, if not the best pushchair manufacturer around. As i have bought so many i know how expensive they can be in the shops, so would recommend buying them on ebay. I know how hard it is deciding the price you are going to bid on a pram, so i have included some information to try and make it a bit easier.

Combination prams:

The ULTIMA 3 in 1

  • carrycot, seat unit and apron on the x-cel chassis (large fixed wheels, metal shopping basket) costs £450 new
  • carrycot, seat unit and apron on the MPX chassis (small wheels swivel or fixed, fabric shopping basket) costs £425 new
  • ON EBAY they usually cost between £80 and £370 depending on the chassis, the fabric e.g boston check, city scape etc. and the condition

The ORB 3 in 1

  • includes carrycot, seat unit, MPX chassis, bag footmuff and sun canopy - costs £395
  • ON EBAY new costs £295 or £345

Pushchairs:

The Pliko pramette

  • Costs £300 and includes raincover
  • ON EBAY you have a choice of new or used
  • New costs about £300 and this may include a car seat
  • Used costs between £70 and £150 depending on fabric and condition

Pliko Urban

  • Costs £199 and includes raincover
  • ON EBAY new costs £139

  • ON EBAY new costs £335

  • Costs £220
  • ON EBAY £50 and £100 new and used

  • ON EBAY £21 and £130 new and used

Strollers:

Nipi stroller

  • Costs £49 with accessory pack £79
  • ON EBAY £43 and £65 with accessory pack (new)
  • ON EBAY £52 used with accessory pack

Pulse stroller

  • Costs £89
  • ON EBAY between £40 and £50 used
  • ON EBAY between £70 and £75

Pulse Vibe stroller

  • Costs £99 and includes a fleece blanket
  • ON EBAY between £50 and £60 used
  • ON EBAY between £70 and £85

Aria stroller

  • Costs £99
  • ON EBAY between £10 and £80 used
  • ON EBAY between £40 and £90 new

Aria Twin stroller

  • Costs £199
  • ON EBAY between  £33 and £190 used depending on the fabric and condition
  • ON EBAY between £124 and £150 new

I hope that this has helped some people, as you can see things are much cheaper on ebay than in the shops. You need to decide on the price you are going to bid before you bid as some prams go for silly money. For example the twin aria stroller above - the used one went for more than a new one!!! Come back and check for other guides, as i may write more if i have the time. xxx
