Why pay for your phone to be unlcoked when most Nokia and other brand name phones can be unlocked for free from a website that gives you the unlock codes for free. If want unlock codes for free let me know.

Some mobiles can not be unlocked for free in which case the orignal owner or the person whos details are registered with the mobile will need to phone the network to which the phone is locked to. The network might charge you a unlocking fee. There also websites that will unlock your phone for a price if it cant be unlocked for free.

Unlocked - Means the mobile is unlocked to other networks. Say your phone is locked to UK O2 this means you cant use any other sim card then a UK O2 sim card. A lot phones come unlocked. Easy way to find out if your phone is unlocked or locked is try a O2 sim card and a Vodafone(U can try this with any networks) sim card in your phone and if thay both work then your phone is unlocked if thay dont then your phone is locked.
