More ARTIST TRADING CARDS - PHOTOS : eBay Guides

ATC's - Further to my guide on artist trading cards, and by popular demand, I am showing you more of the mixed media artist trading cards I have recently produced.

I really like the altered art style - where you take various images, trash them up a bit, maybe give them a distressed look, and then reassemble. I think it takes more creative skill than just getting a few die-cuts, or poyester flowers plus a pretty backgound and just sticking them together. 

Recently I have found in a store called The Range, a way of displaying cards in an attractive, fast and temporary way. Intended for photos, they sell a ladder arrangement of horizontal metal bars which each have two clips each for attaching to cards Simply pop your cards on and hang on the wall and hey presto, you have a beautiful wall hanging for ten cards. Other stores probably sell them too.

Artist trading cards or ATC's are for making and swapping. Swap groups can be found all over the world on the internet. Each card must be 2 1/2 inches x 3 1/2 inches and preferably not too raised so that they can be stored in a wallet if necessary.
