Dear fellow eBayers, there has been a new development in the selling of fake Molton Brown products on eBay. New replicated products are now added to the list and is currently spotted on eBay. Those who have been directed here from my previous guide “FAKE MOLTON BROWN – EBAYERS BEWARE!”, please read on. If not, please do read the previous guide for more information.

NEW LIST OF FAKE MOLTON BROWN:
The new list of fake 300ml spotted on eBay are as follows:
• Relaxing Yuan Zhi Bath & Shower 300ml
• Enlivening Toko-Yuzu Bath & Shower 300ml
• Enlivening Toko-Yuzu Body Lotion 300ml
• Celestial Maracuja Bathing Nectar 300ml
• Blissful Templetree Moisture Bath & Shower 300ml
• Warming Eucalyptus Bath & Shower Therapy 300ml
• Bracing Silverbirch Body Wash 300ml
• Heavenly Gingerlily Moisture Bath & Shower 300ml
• Sensual Hanaleni Bath & Shower 300ml
• Ultrasmooth Coco De Mer Body Lotion 300ml

As before, these bottles are not filled to the brim. This is very noticeable in the picture. Here are some tips that might help you differentiate genuine Molton Brown from the fakes:
• Fake product colour is different and fake bottles are, very noticeably, not completely filled to the brim with the product.
• The cap doesn't fit the bottle properly and will look very wonky.
• The signature Molton Brown “bumps” on the Celestial Maracuja Bathing Nectar bottle are off-centre.
• Molton Brown DOES NOT produce Enlivening Toko-Yuzu Body Lotion in the 300ml size!
• The “Molton Brown” printing on the fake bottles is bolder, darker and smudged.
• Fakes have only been known to come in full sized 300ml bottles. So if bidding for a 300ml bottle, please be vigilant.
• The volume “300ml 10FL OZ” text on the bottle looks different. Check it against another bottle – the number “3” is the one to inspect.

Currently, the sellers are selling these at ridiculously cheap prices... if it is too good to be true, it IS too good to be true. Please be vigilant when bidding. Do note that these sets sometimes come in the old Molton Brown square boxes (Orange & Blue Infinity Box or the Aqua, Lilac & Yellow Box) of 6 or can be split up to be sold individually. Unfortunately, there might be resellers out there unknowingly passing it on.

There are genuine sellers out there selling genuine 300ml bottles. I feel for these guys. As a buyer, just be careful and try to spot for the above tell tale signs to avoid being conned.
