Nokia 6288 Housing Fitting Guide/Dismantle : eBay Guides

Here are some instructions for the fitting of Nokia 6288 Facia. This is a very straightforward procedure for a slide phone thanks in no part of not having to transfer the slide assembly. Note: This will also work for Nokia 6280 as well.

Steps:

1) Remove the battery cover and battery from the phone.

2) Using a plastic implement or similar, seperate the front cover at the top of the phone. Once the top cover comes off, the top keypad section will also seperate from the phone, as this is not connected unlike the lower part.

3) Replace the front housing with the new one - make sure the keypad is properly aligned with the contacts. Clip this down into place and make sure it is secure.

4) Replace battery and rear cover.
