I get very frustrated when i see "OOAK" BABIES listed on ebay that are clearly made from a mold..
Some of which fetch good prices
So i thought i would write a guide to help spot the fake OOAK`S {ONE-OF-A-KIND}
if you see a baby with a very nice face but not so well sculpted body the chances are the face came out of a mold
now i am not saying anyone should not sell such work but they should not list as OOAK
Faces which have come from a mold are usually very symetrical and "perfect" this is a very hard thing to do when modelling by hand
Another give away is the sellers other sculpts,have a look through their feedback,do the babies look very similar? like twins?
I can tell this a mile off,but then i have been sculpting for 5 years now
All sculptors have their own "style" and their babies have a certian look to them but they are not looking identical {but with maybe different colour hair or eyes etc}
please click yes if you found this helpful,thankyou.x
So try to study the work before you part with your hard earnt cash,things are not always as they seem.
Hugs Theresa
