PAYPAL CAN REALLY CHEAT YOU - BEWARE !!! : eBay Guides

Dear Readers,

Paypal can really be a cheat at times. They put holds on payments and reverse transactions even if the item has been sent. Ebook sellers I feel are the worst hit !

At times items I sell go through perfectly and paypal still holds the funds for no reason whatsoever.

A few weeks back I bought some ebooks which didn't download and I called up paypal who said as it was an electronic item I wasn't covered and as a result I couldn't get my money back.

However, a few weeks later someone bought an item from me and they tried to pull a fast one by saying it wouldn't download when I know it was fine. So they opened up a paypal dispute. Low and behold paypal refunded them !!!!!

When I called paypal up they simply said that I had no proof it was sent !

This is a joke ! Paypal changes its views at all times and no one knows where the middle ground is.

I now try and accept cash and postal orders as much as possible to get away from this problem.
