I am writing this on behalf of my partner who used to have an account here and no longer trades anywhere near Ebay(owners of PayPal).

The problen was simple, he sold a batch of Royal Worcester Evesham porcelain and in the article clearly stated that insurance WAS available at an extra cost and to ask for more details!

Low and behold the goods turned up smashed to smitherines, He was accused of poor packaging etc. BUT in his defence I helped him pack it and label it with the magic words "FRAGILE" all over the boxes.

The buyer reported the goods not to be as advertised!! "obviously not if they are smashed to bits!" and requested a refund through PayPal. He clearly indicated to PayPal that this was of no fault of his own and the pictures advertising the goods were origianls and the state of the china when packaged! And that indeed the auction CLEARLY STATED that insurance was available, now I dont know about you but if I was having fragile products like china delivered Insurance would be a MUST, needless to say that PayPal ignored the facts and refunded the money and he was returned a batch of SMASHED  useless china!

WAY TO GO EBAY!
