Well here's a quick and easy guide to having fun with peel offs!

Peel Offs are stickers, it's that simple! They are intricately cut stickers made from a durable, flexible material. Simply peel off the sheet and apply to any smooth, clean surface, such as paper, acetate, glass, plastic, metal and ceramics.

So here are the steps:

Step 1

Lift Peel Off from Sheet

Step 2

Place your Peel Off sticker gently applying from centre out to avoid 'stretching' the Peel Off

If you wish to use the 'inner' bits of the peel off and not just the outline...you can lay transparent easy peel tape (i.e. not too tacky) over the areas you want to lift and burnish with a rub-on tool or the reverse end of your pricking tool. Position the tape so the lifted areas are where you want them on your project and then burnish again to release. Gently lift the tape when finished.

If you have chosen to use only the Peel Off Outline, you can use colour pencils, watercolours etc to colour in your image if you wish. Another fun possibility is chalks as show in the picture below.

If you have opted to use the 'solid' Peel Off, you may wish to colour it as shown in the examples below...

Mix mediums and use both chalks and peel off pens!

Incorporate the use of acetate and vellum in fun and creative ways!



In this example the peel off was applied to a square of vellum and the image was coloured on the reverse of the vellum before spray adhesive was used to apply the vellum square to the card.
The same peel off was also applied to acetate and the shape cut out. The wings were bent up and adhesive applied to the body to adhere the acetate to the card to create the 3-D effect. In this example, the acetate was left uncoloured but the Peel Off Pens could also be used to colour the acetate in the same way that the vellum was!
