There are some great opportunities to purchase pointe shoes through e-bay sellers, however, please remember that pointe shoes should be properly fitted by a trained pointe shoe fitter.  It is not appropriate for  shoes to be purchased on-line unless the fitter knows the size required after careful fitting.

Experienced dancers whose feet have stopped growing will ofcourse know the make and size of shoes required and should take advantage of the ease and advantages of buying through e-bay.

Pointe shoes should only be worn by those dancers with the strength and skill required to dance properly in them, they should NEVER be worn by untrained dancers.

Your teacher will advise you when you are ready to purchase your first pair of pointe shoes, to avoid disappointment and badly blistered feet ensure you are fitted properly for your shoes.
