I recently bought a Camera Fuji S5500, from an eBayer with good feedbacks. Once again I believed the Paypal advert, which states a good level of protection for buyers.
The Camera arrived, it was broken!!! Rattled internally, so I asked for money refund. NO CHANCE... The seller was adamant the Camera was in MINT condition when it left him. And was not prepared to notify the courier of damage. Then the camera packed up within Three days. So I tried to claim through paypal.
Paypal have made it so awkward for me, that I almost gave up the claim. Insisting proof of delivery back to seller (which I advised them had not happened, as the seller had refused the parcel) had to be confirmed.
After numerous attempts to send proof of sending, paypal have now advised the claim is invalid, because the tracking info was invalid (the parcel was returned????????????????)
Does this mean any seller can turn down receiving a return, and paypal will protect them?
I have been disgusted in Paypals response to problems in the past, but I feel this time they have really let every customer who believes the paypals buyer protection scheme, it is not true there are a lot of loopholes for dishonest sellers. And paypal make it as difficult as possible to get results.

Thanks paypal.....
