Just thought I would share this with those of you considering the Philips Streamium. Have you checked out the reviews on Amazon? I think you should. The Philips may look great as a fashion statement but there are serious problems that could affect your enjoyment, particularly if you buy off ebay with limited guarantees. It has come down in price for a reason or 2. Faults. Don't get me wrong it could be great but make it has the latest Firmware Upgrade. Secondly it has a very noisy fan to cool the main unit. Not great in the bedroom which is where I wanted it to drift of to sleep!!!Thirdly it has a habit of jamming or not reading the CD. You could simply end up with a very nice looking radio. Style isn't everything but if you can sacrifice looks for practicality and you NEED a hard drive go for the Hitachi AX140, it also plays DVDs!!! Please read Amazon reviews and think before you buy.
