)Most E Bayers and Internet users will be aware or at least have heard of PHISING (pronounced fishing), here a very convincing e mail will be sent using identical text styles logos as PayPal Abbey National Halifax Bank Egg Bank, in fact any Financial institution imaginable!, trying to panic you into "updating your detail" to avoid account locking or similar Bull**** , once you click on links 'confirm' your details (password etc) your Bank can be 'raped' repeatadly until completely empty.
I get a fair amount of these as i advertise my Web site Worldwide. Here's one example received today, they sent it 5 times no doubt to try and add some 'urgency', the address line was actually from " info@hi5.com" see bottom photo which is really a social-Dating type site, i Googled this and found some very recent postings regarding this Phising set up, so must be widely circulated (probably buy a new Mercedes off these!). PayPal have confirmed it is fake of course
I also got some today from 'Abbey National' !!! aswell, see PayPal and E Bays advice-help on Fraud/Phising.
