STOP PRESS UPDATE!!!  Further to my other guides, I continue to be appalled by eBay's apparent lack of concern about the huge number of fake Decker UGGS ("UGG Australia").  Even though items are reported they seem to refuse to take the listing down.  I wanted to post a rogues gallery but in their wisdom eBay only allow 10 pictures to a guide so please look at my other guides for further pictures.  In the meantime, here's the second set of pictures of FAKE Classic Tall Decker UGGS.  The giveaway is either the blue (and now I notice brown) label pinned onto the boot and/or a dust bag in either dark or light brown that says 'Snow Boots' - real Decker UGGS do not have any of these items!!   Also, note some of the soles where there is a distinct 'line' before the heel area - the tread on real UGGS doesn't have this sharp line.

The fakers have also become very good lately and have now started to get the ®, next to the UGG logo on the sole in place.  The heel label is now often the best way of spotting fakes.  In the real item, the ®,  is right in the middle of  the open jaws of the 'G', in many fakes it is right at the top of the jaw - see photo in my main guide for a better comparison.  In many fake UGGS, the label is also too high up on the heel.  If you are not sure look at the real ones in a High Street shop.

If you think any of these pictures are yours then please examine your conscience - you are guilty of ripping people (often youngsters) off.  If as a seller, you think you are an innocent victim then please go along to the high street, compare your supposed UGGS with those in the shops and then 'collar' your supplier.  Please help stamp out this wicked trade.

If you are thinking of buying, please proceed with caution - the pictures below aere of FAKE Decker UGGS

Real Decker UGGS do not have labels like this pinned on.  The box is also wrong - no orange or Australian flag on real Decker UGGS boxes

The sole pattern is wrong - the UGG typeface is incorrect and also the 'starburst' is incomplete and faulty.  The fakers have recently added the ®,  next to the UGG name to try and make their fakes even more "perfect" - watch out!!  The genuine Decker UGG sole is shown on the right.

Fake fur and blue tag.  The seller also says " you need to order one size larger" - obvious sign of fake!!

No blue tag/label on real Decker UGGS

Another tell tale sign of fake UGGS is where the heel label is far too high up on the heel of the boots.  .

They don't come any more fake than this!!  The blue pinned on label should be a giveaway - but look how high the heel label is too!.

This pinned on label shown on the boots above might say "UGG" but its a complete fake.... real Decker UGGS are NOT made by CGM Co.Ltd -w hich is what this label says.  A close up below

A close up of a FAKE UGG label/tag.  Any boots made by CGM Co Ltd are FAKES - they have nothing to do with Deckers UGG Australia boots.

Another tell tale sign of a fake is the 'pointed' toe - the profile of the genuine Decker UGG boot is much more gentle than this.
