STOP PRESS UPDATE!!!  Further to my other guides, I continue to be absolutely appalled at eBay's apparent lack of concern about the huge number of fake "UGG Australia" (Deckers Inc) boots on eBay.  Even though items are reported they seem to refuse to take the listing down. I wanted to post a rogues gallery but in their wisdom eBay only allow 10 pictures to a guide so please look at my other guides for pictures.  In the meantime, here's the third set of pictures of FAKE Classic Tall Decker UGGS.  The giveaway is either the blue (and now I notice light brown) label pinned onto the boot and/or a dust bag in either dark or light brown that says 'Snow Boots' - real Decker UGGS do not have any of these items!!

The fakers have also become very good lately and have now started to get the ®, next to the UGG logo on the sole in place.  The heel label is now often the best way of spotting fakes.  In the real item, the ®,  is right in the middle of  the open jaws of the 'G', in many fakes it is right at the top of the jaw - see photo in my main guide for a better comparison.   In many fake UGGS, the label is also too high up on the heel.  If you are not sure look at the real ones in a High Street shop.

Also most fake UGGS come up small - as opposed to genuine ones which come up big.  If you are advised to order a size up from normal or the seller says they didn't fit - then this is a sure sign they are fakes!

If you think any of these pictures are yours then please examine your conscience - you are guilty of ripping people (often youngsters) off.  If as a seller, you think you are an innocent victim then please go along to the high street, compare your supposed UGGS with those in the shops and then 'collar' your supplier.  Please help stamp out this wicked trade.

If you are thinking of buying, please proceed with caution - the pictures below are of FAKE Decker UGGS

In the pictures below, the pinned on blue tag, the beige dust bag and the fact that the heel label is far too high (plus the small 'R' is in the wrong position) that give the game away:-

In the pictures below, the brown dust bag (that says "Snow Boots") and blue tags that confirm they are fakes:-

Again, its the blue tags, the beige (and brown) dust bags (saying "Snow Boots") and the wrong sole pattern - there should be no rigid line at the end of the wavy bits) - together with the round stick on size label that says Fake, fake, fake!

In the pictures below its the label that says "Made in New Zealand" - the boot is a Classic style and these ARE NOT made in New Zealand.  The boots on the right have the wrong sole pattern - the rigid line at the back of the soel pattern is the giveaway that they are fakes.

In the pictures below if look closely there is a light brown label pinned on the boots.  The label will say "Originated by CGM Co. Ltd".  This confirms both of them as fakes .  In the second picture, also note the orange strip running along the top of the label on the box - another sign of a fake.  Some of these box labels also show the Australian flag - very patriotic, but another definite sign of a FAKE!
