If you dont want to get ripped off by a seller charging a fortune for p&p then PLEASE confirm the postage charges before you bid . The designer bag that has 2mins till the end of the auction may not look as cheap, when you get the payment summary and the seller is charging £50 for p&p, (yes the reason it has no bids is because everyone else has checked the postage charges with the seller!).
We all know that it dosent really cost £10 to send a t-shirt first class for London to Durham but if you dont establish the postage costs before you bid the seller may get pushy when you say you dont want the item.
I buy and sell and I find the easiest way of selling is to include p&p in the price of the auction, the buyer is bidding how much they are prepared to pay "all in " and knowone is being ripped off.
I have also come across sellers who charge extra at the end of the auctions for
Paypal costs
Ebay sellers costs
Petrol to take the item to the post office
and much more!
so have fun buying on ebay but be sure to check for hidden costs, and always get the postage costs before you bid !
GOOD LUCK
